Thankfully, there is one aspect of the Netflix series that proved its ability to pull off great CGI. That's because not only will he look a lot different than the rest of the crew, but he will also have to be able to change into his other forms at will. With Chopper, it's going to be a lot more difficult because, unlike Arlong and the other fish-men, he won't be able to come to life via makeup and prosthetics. But for those who jumped into the show without any knowledge of the manga or anime, it may have been quite a shock to see Oda's drawing of a furry little creature in his announcement video. Tony Tony Chopper will board the Going Merry in One Piece Season 2. One Piece will be returning for a second season, and as Oda revealed in his announcement video, a new crew member will be joining the Straw Hats - and they may have a little more fur than the rest of the gang. That success has led to some well-deserved praise, including from the series' creator, Eiichiro Oda, who recently made a special announcement about the show. Seemingly overnight, Netflix's One Piece series has become a worldwide sensation, becoming one of the most celebrated anime adaptations of all time.
